The 4th of July is just right about the corner so I got to thinking.. we need a 4th of July menu and we need it NOW.
Below are some of my favorite things to make on this glorious glorious holiday.
From crockpot baked beans (so easy, so good) to jalapeño dill egg salad, you’re bound to find something to make and munch on this weekend.
So, without further ADO- let’s dig in!
Crockpot Baked Beans, aka “Reunion Beans”– these are seriously the best baked beans I’ve ever had! Throw everything in the crockpot and let it do it’s thing. Doesn’t get any easier.

Classic Pasta Salad– every summer party needs a pasta salad and this one is classic, simple, and always a hit.

Jalapeño Dill Egg Salad– Whether you’re at home, at the lake, or on a small family vacation, having a bowl of egg salad around to snack on is ideal. This lightened up version is so delicious and super easy to throw together.

Tomatoes with Basil and Burrata– Gimme allllll the fresh summer tomatoes. This is quite possibly my favorite appetizer/snack of them all. Fresh tomatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, basil, and burrata is truly all you need in life. Hands down MUST HAVE.

Watermelon Mint Salad– I mean, c’mon, does it get any prettier than fresh watermelon with vibrant green mint? I don’t think so. It also doesn’t get any more refreshing. I could and would eat this whole tray.

The only Breakfast Casserole you will ever need! Make-ahead breakfast casserole that’s perfect for the whole family! Make it the night before and all you’ll have to do is pop in the oven the next morning. Perfect for weekends at the lake or comfy weekends at home.
