Who wants to bring me a pitcher of these Apple Cider Margs once this babe arrives?? Taking volunteers 😜 they are seriously SO good and there’s a mocktail version also! I love that they are pitcher style so you could easily double it to serve 8 which is perfect for entertaining! It’s the best Halloween cocktail if you ask me! Now on the blog ready for ya!!! 🍹🍹We used @socorrotequila because we are obsessed!

Another recipe in collaboration with @coppedgekitchen 🫶🏻

Here’s what you’ll need!
3 cups apple cider
2 limes, juiced + wedges for the rim
1/4 cup cinnamon simple syrup (or regular, recipe below for cinnamon)
8 oz silver tequila (you can also use mezcal for a smokier touch–omit for cocktail version)
2 oz orange liqueur (omit for mocktail version)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 T ground cinnamon
Thinly Sliced apple, for serving
Cinnamon sticks, for serving
Ginger beer, for serving if making mocktails!

Cinnamon Simple Syrup:

1/2 cup granulated sugar (coconut sugar works also)
1/2 cup water
2 cinnamon sticks
pinch of ground cinnamon

To make the simple syrup, add the sugar, water, cinnamon sticks, and ground cinnamon to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally until the sugar has fully dissolved, 3-5 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
To a large pitcher, add apple cider, lime juice, and prepared simple syrup. Stir. If making mocktails, leave as is. If making cocktails, you can go ahead and add the tequila and orange liqueur now.
Add cinnamon and sugar to a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rims of serving glasses then twirls in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Add ice, pour in the mixture, and garnish with cinnamon sticks + apple slices.
Top with ginger beer if you made cocktail version. Enjoy!

I did all 3 of my maternity shoots with @paige.greener and I’m always SO glad we captured this time in life. This one was by far my favorite- chaotic and so hilarious. I can’t believe these guys will be big brothers oh so soon. Thank you! @paige.greener 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 and the last candid pic may be my favorite and getting framed asap- and I will have you know that bouquet that Piero picked is still on display in our house. 😂

NEW on the blog are these INCREDIBLE Whipped Ricotta Pear Crostinis with honey & thyme and oh my are they delicious. They are beyond simple to prepare but SO flavorful and the perfect bite to serve guests all holiday season long! I promise you’ll love them.

Elise and I from @coppedgekitchen made these together a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love. Simple, elegant, and delish.

1 baguette, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil + more for brushing
16 oz whole milk ricotta
1 bosco pear, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
Honey for drizzling
Pinch of kosher salt

Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a sheet tray with parchment paper and set aside.
Slice the baguette into ¼” slices cut on the bias. Add the baguette slices to the prepared sheet tray and brush lightly with olive oil. Toast the baguette until lightly golden in color, about 8-10 minutes.
In the meantime, add the ricotta to a blender with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt. Pulse until fully blended and creamy.
Once cool enough to handle, top each toast with a swipe of whipped ricotta followed by a pear slice, drizzle of honey and garnished with fresh thyme. Transfer to a large platter and serve

This Crockpot Sweet Potato Turkey Chili is so cozy

This Crockpot Sweet Potato Turkey Chili is so cozy and comforting, healthy, and also incredibly delicious. Throw it all in before heading out for the day and come home to a bowl of yum. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

2 T olive oil
1 lb ground turkey
1 yellow onion, diced
1 tsp minced garlic
1 poblano pepper, seeds removed and diced
1 red bell pepper, seeds removed and diced
1 medium sweet potato, peeled and diced (about 3.5–4 cups diced)
1– 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
1–15 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1– 15 oz can tomato sauce
1–15 oz can diced tomatoes
3–4 cups chicken broth, as needed (I usually start with 3 cups– you can always add more later if you need)
4 T chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Salt and Pepper, to taste

Optional toppings-Shredded cheese
Green onions
Fritos
Sour cream (or greek yogurt)
Avocado
Jalapeños
