Kale and Basil Pesto

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c extra virgin olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 c pine nuts
  • 2 c Kale, chopped
  • 1 c fresh basil
  • 1/2 c grated parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, garlic, kale, basil, salt, pepper, parmesan, and lemon juice in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Add the pine nuts and pulse until you’ve reached your desired consistency.
