Tropical Pitaya Smoothie Bowl

Tropical Pitaya Smoothie Bowl

Does it get much prettier than this hot pink bowl of extreme tastiness?  Definitely not convinced that it does.  I love love love Pitaya and all that it has to offer.  For one, hot pink happens to be my fave color.. but aside from that, it’s loaded with amazing attributes.  This tropical superfood has been shown to lower cholesterol, prevent cancer and heart disease, aid in weight loss, and if not anything else, provides a serious energy boost!

I decided to toss in a few mint leaves, and i’m so happy that I did.  It adds the perfect amount of pizazz to this bowl of yum.  Always remember you can top with whatever you have on hand, and it will be just as delicious! For this one, I chose to top with fresh kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, banana chips, coconut flakes, granola, chia seeds, and a drizzle of honey.  Delish combo I tell ya!
