Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. When skillet is hot, add a few tablespoons olive oil and kielbasa sausage. Cook for a few minutes per side, until golden. Add minced garlic and cook another 30-45 seconds until garlic is fragrant. (reduce heat if needed so garlic doesn’t burn
Add uncooked pasta, water/broth, and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat to a simmer, and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently, until pasta is cooked and liquid has reduced.
When pasta is cooked and creamy, stir in chopped rainbow chard and cook over low heat for an additional 2 minutes. Stir in parmesan.
