This Little Gem Salad with Radish and Lemon Vinaigrette is such a light, refreshing, and easy salad to throw together and absolutely perfect for Spring. Serve at your next dinner party and your guests will love it!
I had a salad very similar to this at Casanova restaurant in Carmel when we were there last summer and knew it was something I wanted to re-create for the blog. I just love the simplicity of it.
Here’s what you need to make this Little Gem Salad with Radish and Lemon Vinaigrette!
For the salad:
- 1- 5 oz package Little Gem Lettuce Leaves
- 4-5 radishes, sliced thin
- 2 T chopped chives, more if desired
For the Lemon Vinaigrette:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- juice of 3 small lemons, more or less to taste (~1/4 cup)
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- Salt + pepper, to taste
It takes less than 5 minutes to arrange the little gem lettuce, radish and chives onto a serving platter, then another 5 to whisk up the dressing and voila~

Little Gem Salad with Radish and Lemon Vinaigrette
Ingredients
For the salad:
- 1– 5 oz package Little Gem Lettuce Leaves
- 4–5 radishes, sliced thin
- 2 T chopped chives, more if desired
For the Lemon Vinaigrette:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- juice of 3 small lemons, more or less to taste (~1/4 cup)
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- Salt + pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Arrange little gem leaves on a serving platter and top with radish, chives, and cracked pepper.
- In a separate bowl, whisk up olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dijon, salt and pepper.
- Just before serving, pour dressing over the top. Enjoy!!
