Hi again everyone!
I hope you’ve had a great week so far. This post is going to be short and sweet– no pun intended. If you have a demanding sweet tooth like myself, but are trying to be semi-healthy, these little dark chocolate blueberry nuggets are just for you. I mean, let’s get real here, as much we’d like to indulge in triple fudge brownie’s & Cookie Butter Gooey Butter Cake on the daily, that isn’t always in our best interest. But don’t you worry, that is why these frozen bites of blueberry yum yum were created- guilt-free & super delicious! Five minutes or less of prep time, and you’ll have a bowl of healthyish sweet treats sitting in your freezer patiently waiting for you to dig in.
- 6 oz fresh blueberries
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 c rolled oats
- Place chocolate in microwave safe bowl, and cook in 30 second intervals. Stirring in between each interval until melted.
- Add oats to chocolate, stir together. Then add blueberries. Gently toss in chocolate oat mixture, and transfer to parchment paper to dry.
- Once blueberries have dried, transfer to container and place in freezer. Remove from freezer 5-8 minutes before indulging. 🙂
