Ingredients
For the bottom layer:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c butter, melted
For the top layer (filling):
- 5.5 c powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c butter, melted
- 1/3 c cookie butter
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9in x 13in baking dish, set aside.
- Combine yellow cake mix, 1 egg, and 1/2 c butter in mixing bowl. Mix until well combined and pour into prepared baking dish, evenly distributing into dish.
- Next, combine melted butter, eggs, powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla in a clean mixing bowl; mix well.
- Pour mixture directly on top of first layer of cake and smooth out.
- In a small bowl, heat up the cookie butter for about 30 seconds in the microwave, until melted. Pour on top and using a knife gently swirl into the top layer.
- Bake for 40 minutes, until golden. Center should still be gooey.
- Let cool 5-10 minutes before serving.
