Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Raw shrimp, peeled & deveined. I prefer to buy wild-caught shrimp, fresh or frozen. If frozen, thaw in cold water.
  • Bell peppers. A combination or orange, red, and green bell peppers is delicious!
  • Yellow onion.
  • Garlic. Fresh is best, however, I often buy pre-peeled garlic because it does the trick during this busy season in life!
  • Everything but the Elote seasoning from Trader Joe’s. This seasoning is SO yummy and can be used on so many things. If you don’t have access to a Trader Joe’s, you can substitute your favorite fajita or taco seasoning.
  • Salt + Pepper.
  • Olive oil.

Optional serving suggestions: cilantro, jalapeno slices, lime wedges, tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, etc.

Whenever I make tacos or fajitas, I love keeping my tortillas in my Dexas Microwavable Tortilla Warmer because not only does it keep them nice and warm, they can also be heated up directly in it, fresh or frozen! Simply add your tortillas to the warmer and pop it in the microwave. It seals really well which helps to keep the steam inside helping keep tortillas, pancakes, French toast, etc. really warm. It’s also dishwasher safe which is always nice for easy clean up. They have a few different sizes, colors, and patterns and has heavy wall poly construction for optimal insulation and durability. They are also stackable which is amazing! I highly recommend- you can find them here.
